Julie Doiron and Rick White started a band together shortly after they started dating as teenagers in 1990. That band was called Eric's Trip and they went on to becoming the first Canadian band signed to Sub Pop, recording several singles, EP's and albums. The band fell apart as their relationship did in '96 but they remained friends while both developed successful solo music projects. They began working together again while re-uniting Eric's Trip for tours in 2001 and 2007-8, as well as when Rick recorded, mixed and played on a trio of Julie's solo albums between 2007 and 2012. In the many years since, after discussing the idea of making an album together many times, they've finally managed to do just that. A full album of brand new songs, and we think these songs are just what fans will get excited about. Starting with the title track which brings us right back to the peppy fuzzed up energy of the Eric's Trip days, the album is full of sweet harmonies and catchy melodies, flowing through sounds from all the years of both of their recording history, but bringing those two voices together once again. Hooray.
