We happily offer exchange or store credit for returned, new merchandise provided it is returned in ‘AS NEW (unopened, unused)’ condition, with the original receipt, contact us within 14 days of purchase date. Absolutely NO CASH REFUNDS. If 14 days or more have passed since the date of invoice, we cannot offer you an exchange. Shipping the item back to us is your responsibility. We do not cover return shipping costs for returns.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. To follow up on the a return, please contact listenrecords[at]shaw[dot]ca.
Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
New LPs that have the seal broken are NOT returnable/exchangeable. Turntables that have been taken out of the box are NOT returnable/exchangeable. Defective LPs that skip or are considerably warped, etc., we will also provide an exchange or store credit provided it is returned/we are contacted in the state it was purchased, with the original receipt, within 14 days of purchase date.
(Please note, skipping records are often a result of turntable/cartridge — not record — quality. Also note, minor sleeve scuffs and warps are sadly very normal with new records due to manufacturing demands and packaging decisions and are not something we are able to warranty.)
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCHANGES ON USED/OPENED ITEMS AT OUR DISCRETION.
