Vick, Harold: Don't Look Back LP

Originally recorded and released on the Strata East label in 1974 in the wake of his recovery from a heart attack, the appropriately titled Don't Hold Back finds Harold Vick reinvigorated and wearing many hats including producer, writer and multi-instrumentalist. The sensitive and sophisticated soul jazz set is anchored by the celebratory title track which was inspired by newfound love in his time of crisis and was later covered by Shirley Scott and Nat Adderley.
