Light Sounds Dark back on their trippy compilation-cum-mixtape hi jinx with a haul of marginal audities ranging from liminal ambient to darkside industrial drone treks, choral cues and kosmiche plongggg.

Aye top marks to you if any of the names on show are familiar, coz we've no clue. The opener leaves us groggy form the stereo-phasing, liminal spectre of Swooploop’, then inducing a steep hypnagogia with 14 minutes of dub-gutted industrial drone from an obscure ’87 tape; into a phantasmic 22’ piece that gets a whole side to itself, as do two pieces dank synth abstraction and noise, like prototypes of dungeon synth edging on M.B. territory; before someone called Rod takes the biscuit for thee trippiest morsel with a text-to-speech satellite to finish us off.

It’s all killer stuff of the outsider variety and just goes to show this music lark is a hole that never ends, if you’re willing to go there.
