Released in 2000, it’s a career-spanning compilation that features key songs from David’s solo recordings, collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Robert Fripp, Mick Karn, Alesini & Andreoni, and tracks by Japan and Rain Tree Crow. It’s a mix of previously released, unreleased, re-recorded, non-album and alternate versions of tracks from Sylvian’s 20 years with Virgin Records, focusing entirely on vocal compositions. Everything and Nothing was originally issued on CD, minidisc and cassette but not vinyl. To accommodate the 29 tracks, this new issue is a triple vinyl package.
