Lonnie Liston Smith never made a bad album and with Visions Of A New World he laid down an all-time classic.
Recorded with his band the Cosmic Echoes, over time, it has been acknowledged as one of his finest sets. Mediative, soulful and addictive, every track is a gem, especially ‘A Change For Peace’ and ‘Colors Of The Rainbow’, graced with the vocals of Liston Smith’s brother, Donald.
Visions Of A New World is reissued as part of the programme of Liston Smith’s Flying Dutchman LPs.
