Originally issued on Touch And Go Records in 2007, Excellent Italian Greyhound is the fourth full-length release by respected producer/engineer/bassist Bob Weston (Volcano Suns), drummer Todd Trainer (Brick Layer Cake, Rifle Sport), and producer/engineer/guitarist extraordinaire Steve Albini (Big Black, Rapeman ) as minimalist rock trio Shellac. Coming seven long years after 1000 Hurts, the album was recorded at Electrical Audio and mastered at Abbey Road by Steve Rooke and stands as the band's longest running release to date. Excellent Italian Greyhound finds Shellac further fine-tuning their alluring yet acerbic sound with no shits given to which camp you may prefer.
