In tomorrow... fluXus returns to Castles In Space with a beautiful new album entitled "Ghost Signs". fluXus is Cornwall, UK based artist Nigel Rushbrook. Born on the same day as Ralph Vaughan Williams and Alistair Crowley, Nigel lives and records in a cottage once owned by Sargeant Howie aka Edward Woodward. "Ghost Signs" brings some darker shades of ambience and classic electronic sounds, with Berlin School style sequencing and a retro sensibility. Nigel uses vintage analog and virtual synths and old-school effects. Nostalgic space music in which cosmic space is seen in mirrors of emotional space. Electronic soundscapes that are inhabited - or haunted - by humanity. The "Ghost Signs" album passes through City Of London streets, along brick passages, across the Alexandrian desert, and weaves in some lost nostalgias for what might have been. It's a ghostly vibe alright.
