Like rivers, each of these tracks guides the listener toward an intimate and familiar inner landscape. For this album, my repeated patterns grow more complex and welcome touches of folk and melancholy. Several of these pieces were created and performed live over the past year. - Thomas Desrosiers With the first notes of Cycle lunaire, the delicate textures and carefully crafted minimalism that unfold throughout the album reveal themselves and captivate. This collection of compositions weaves a landscape whose colors and emotions feel chosen with honesty and instinct, both precious and welcoming. Every thread catches the ear, and holds it effortlessly from beginning to end. - Isohyet Thomas Desrosiers is a self-taught musician who composes atmospheric music for bass and synthesizer. Influenced by ambient and folk, his work blends calming textures with nostalgia-infused melodies, creating an intimate listening space conducive to relaxation. Since the release of his first electroacoustic project in 2023, he has performed in a variety of local spaces, while also composing music for contemporary dance, cinema, and visual arts.
