Young, Neil: Harvest Moon LP

1992's quintessential Harvest Moon, largely seen as the quasi-sequel to Neil Young's masterwork Harvest from two decades prior, finds the mercurial music master revisiting his golden country-rock sound with many of the same musicians including Ben Keith on pedal steel guitar and Linda Rondstadt and James Taylor on backing vocals. And like its spiritual guide, the relaxed and refined affair was a huge success awash in elegant arrangements, gorgeous melodies and harmonies, and highly reflective and heartfelt songs ("Unknown Legend," "From Hank to Hendrix," "Harvest Moon").
