During Neil Young's long and storied career, some of his solo shows have attained mythic status, thanks to the practice of bootlegging. The last stop on the singer/songwriter's solo tour of Canada and the United States was an acoustic show performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion – part of the Los Angeles Music Center. This previously unreleased 15-song set was recorded on February 1, 1971, and features Harvest numbers "Old Man," "Heart of Gold," "A Man Needs a Maid," and "The Needle and the Damage Done," along with the evergreen classic "Sugar Mountain." The album cover art has an aged, bootleg vibe, with a stage banter quote across the top: "I'm happy that y'all came down." This LP is a passport back in time.
