Urano, Yuri: Awawa CS

As an interdisciplinary artist, Yuri Urano has been very active in and outside of Japan, She’s joined numerous international projects, performed at Mutek Japan and shared the stage with Ryoji Ikeda and Richie Hawtin. ”Awawa” allows us to experience what many refer to as “deep listening”. With “Awa” we find ourselves in the shadowy realms of a dark forest, traversing through the dense undergrowth. After “Shinkai” and “Yuki” take us on a slow descend to the unfathomable depths of the ocean's abyss, we gently ascend to the water surface, drifting till we reach the rescuing shores on the album closer “En”.
