Howard Thomas, better known by his stage name **H-Fusion**, is a vanguard of the Detroit music scene. Known to some as an experimental electronic artist, he merges raw house with eclectic psycho-jit-jazz, encapsulating the innovative spirit of his productions. With a career that began over a decade ago, Howard's work echoes through the gritty streets of Detroit, from the grooves of his early tracks on *Sound Signature* and *Fit* to the chaotic energy of his latest beats.

Howard was a DJ member of Slum Village in its early stages and has occasionally DJed for the group over the years. His music, characterized by its unquantized, improvisational essence, draws inspiration from a broad palette of genres including jazz, funk, Detroit techno, hip hop, new wave, freestyle, and dub, yet his sound remains unmistakably his own. Crafted through experimentation with his synths and drum machines, his approach blends cosmic jazz oddities with hardcore warehouse rave anthems.

For the 100th release on Sound Signature, The inspiration for ‘Skin Breaker’ comes from his early years of watching sci-fi films. He's always been fascinated by them . As a huge fan of 80s beat tracks and 80s sci-fi, he aimed to blend those influences into this project. This project is a tribute to the sounds and styles that have inspired Him.
