Saâda Bonaire's visionary fusion of New Wave and World influences shines as brightly as ever, a touchstone release evoking a romantic image of West Germany in the 1980s via an undulating patchwork of synthesizers, drum machines, and husky vocals.

Recorded by dub master Dennis Bovell at Kraftwerk's Studio "N", Saâda Bonaire compiles two songs from their classic EMI single "You Could Be More As You Are" along with eleven previously unreleased songs recorded between 1982 and 1985. The resulting sound was a unique fusion of husky female vocals, Eastern instruments, dub, and African music aesthetics, drum computers, and synthesizers.
