Markus Midnight: Night Work LP

Canadian artist's new album, Night Work, out August 1st on vinyl format. Midnight has been crafting his unique brand of synth pop for the past 13 years and Night Work explores local and global themes, using oblique vocals which not so subtly hint about living in a region that is obsessed with oil and harvesting natural resources - at any cost. The artwork portrays a Mad Max apocalyptic nightmare that Markus has envisioned since childhood, in a place where the pump jack and oil derrick are glamorized ahead of everything else.
