Kenako: s/t LP

Despite the Afro-centric name, Kenako band is actually a jazz, fusion and acrobat outfit from Saint Petersburg in Russia. The band came together in 2017 and has 10 members that takes in various skilled musicians of the Petersburg underground scene. Their orchestra is a like a hurricane that sweeps you off your feet and takes you on a good-spirit trip through big riffs, wind and percussive sounds that celebrate the warmth of the sun. This self titled debut is a fine statement that is filled with vital rhythms.
