Funkadelic's debut 1970 album is one of the finest musical documents of 70's Black Rock. Before the Parliament lift-off, George Clinton and company were firmly grounded on earth with rock breaks, guitar solos, blues vocals, 60s soul, and acid trips. Aside from the famous break track "Good Old Music," checkout "Mommy, What's a Funkadelic?, I Bet You, Music for My Mother," and "What Is Soul." Essential listening on vinyl, recommended.
