Depeche Mode: Playing the Angel LP
Availability: | Out of stock |
Depeche Mode returned in 2005 with Playing The Angel, their 11th studio album. It was the first to feature songwriting contributions from lead singer Dave Gahan and their first record produced by Ben Hillier. A more organic-sounding record for its use of analogue synths over digital ones, most of the soundscapes presented have a groovier, more industrial feel than its mellow predecessor Exciter. Highlights includes "Precious", "Suffer Well", and "A Pain That I'm Used To".
